It really depends on your budget. I was in the same boat. There are tons of
weird Chinese brands. I was buying for my 12 year old daughter. /R/electricScooters was a little bit helpful to look around and get some info about some of the brands. I ended up getting the iScooter i9 (350 watt) from Amazon.
