Some might just prefer to focus on what they like doing best especially if they are paid well, have solid job security
for a college coach, work in a great environment, have control over their area, and get the recognition they deserve. Sounds like a great job that doesn't have to be the main focus of the media, boosters and fans when things don't work out perfectly.
