It's true, but I hate it.
It's stupid that so much emphasis is placed on pre-season hype and expectations. The CFB powers that be need to re-adjust once the season starts and wipe the slate clean.
A worrying trend is basing teams rankings in part on their recruiting rankings. I think that is a recipe that the B1G and SEC are using to spin the narrative in their favor.
