Half the time Jake is very good, especially in 2 minute offense. However the other half of the time he’s really bad. Three games in a row he’s been outplayed by opposing team’s QB’s and finished with below avg to bad PER’s and an offense avg 17 pts a game. This was supposed to be the easier part of our schedule yet we’re struggling the most.

Jake has nice physical tools, all the things you look for in a QB, good arm strength, decent mobility, etc but sloppy mechanics that frequently hang him up aside, his decision making is his worst feature. That’s just who he is and I don’t know if that’s something that can be coached out of him. He will always be 50-50 Jake, half the time putting us in position to win and then the other half of the time throwing us right out of the game. Not sure that’s the kind of QB that will win you championships.
