Tiebreaker observations - We really want Colorado to lose on Friday. Here's why:
BYU's berth into the championship game is dependent on a Wildcat victory - either one, though both works just fine too.

Now, the desertwildcats with their losing record are playing for pride, nothing more, so their motivation going into their game is what it is. The cornwildcats, on the other hand, are at present still in the running for a CCG berth.

Thing is, there's gonna be a LOT of scoreboard watching this weekend because as more games conclude, more of the 8 potential CCG entrants' hopes are crushed. It's safe to say KState will be more motivated in their game if they still have hope to play in the CCG with a win.

If Colorado wins on Friday, KState's only chance at the CCG requires Arizona beating ASU (which would get us into the CCG anyway, and we'd not need KSU's help at that point). That AZ game will be ending right about as the KSU-ISU game kicks off, so if ASU wins, KState will know the only thing they're playing for is pride too. And that sucks for us.

But if Colorado loses on Friday, KState still has a path to the CCG even if ASU wins. Conceded, for them to realize it, BYU would have to lose to Houston, but by that point on Saturday, we just want KState to have hope, because if ASU wins, all our eggs are in the KState basket (and ridiculously, if Baylor wins v Kansas at noon, KState would also be beholden to Cinci beating TCU, but at least that game only kicks off an hour and a half before Farmageddon).

So, can the Pokes pull off the big upset over the Colorado Primes?

(Yeah, I don't think so either. But here's to hoping.)
