The story i heard... is that a player started running out onto the field when he wasn't on the play, and the Herriman coach yanked him back to the sideline and yelled at him to pay attention.
The mom of the kid didn't like that... and submitted a complaint to the school, district and i think police (for abuse?!?).. anyway, after a long process of other player parents coming forward they let the Herriman coach go. <- For the record, I think it was more an issue of entitled parents whose kids didn't get to be football heroes than abuse.
