People are free to make their own calculations, through whatever means they are made… In fact, on a macro scale, I’m sure it’s something they encourage. Bob with his excel sheet or janky computer program is going to have a hard time consistently beating Vegas.

Of course, if you get too good, books will just stop taking your bets. The house has to win, after all.
