Maybe if an Olineman picked up the roaming NG then maybe Jake could move up to the LOS, which would mean Chase would be in the EZ catching the ball instead of 2 yards short. Chase had to come back to the ball because it was underthrown. Give Jake 5 more yards, that pass is a TD.

The fact that some players NOT finishing their job, is more of an issue. That's the issue and concern.

No olineman should ever let any defensive player be that close to a QB...players need to finish their assignments first and foremost. Celebrate afterwards, by re-watching the catch, the play, etc.
