How do you throw a flag when the game at that point was over?

It’s a judgement call, I suppose, and no sane official would ever throw an unsportsmanlike flag in that situation. Even the Big12 has sorta backstopped the lack of a flag in that situation by mandating that the home team not be penalized if their fans rush the field prematurely. It’s different conduct, but still the same reasoning.
