our point total was down from the last two games against the worst opponent. Certainly it was our best game of the year defensively, but again I wonder how much of that is the worse opponent (not that the others were good).
I thought Demin deferred too much. Just 4 shots and 6 assists tonight. We didn't need anymore than that so I'm hoping that was why, but then I see Hall trying to clear out a side for him to go to the rim it makes me sad.
Demin is a lot better than Hall today (and improving with every practice) so taking it out of his hands for Hall to run an iso play is not smart. Overall there weren't too many of those which was good. I am still worried that Hall insists on being the guy. I guess time will tell.
Last thing on Hall; why can't he shoot free throws? I know it is was a simple one for two but the one luckily rolled in. Guys like Jimmer, Haws and Ainge were close to 90%. Hall struggles to get to 60. It is crazy to me.
Mag has clearly lost his spring. I'm guessing he'll get it back at some point, but probably not this year. He looks to be #10 in what will be a 9 man rotation.
I would like to see more of Bosko. He has talent but hasn't quite found a fit on this team.
