Starting off, I hope the movie is great. I hope it becomes a blockbuster. . . But I personally lost all interest when they said it would be a 5 hour 2 part movie.

But while I love Musicals, this adaptation does not seem like my thing.

The book was full of adult Erotica, so as you mention the pull from the book. . . There is good stuff to pull from, and also lots of themes I really don't care for. I didn't read the other 3 books.

The other reason I am not excited. . . I felt Wicked on Broadway was already slow paced.


How about this, I will wait 2 weeks, if the reviews are great, I will go see it the first week of Dec. or in late November. Otherwise I will just wait til Nov 2025. Either way I am going to see the movie.
