An offense that runs at a slow pace has low energy. I was at the Kansas game and Jake seemed like he was sleep walking. I told my son that I thought Jake was sick. The whole team just standing there waiting for the play to be called.
The crowd would count down the play clock as it got down to 8 and we were lumbering up to the line.
I’m not an advocate of Go Fas Go Hard or full time 2 minute offense, but I think we need to pick up the tempo and get up to the line faster. And don’t stand there calling signals and changing plays over and over.
In the immortal words of Allen Sherman, “🎶🎼🎵 That was good advice, that was good advice! Good advice costs nothing and it’s worth the price.🎵🎼🎶”
