UVU had 30 on their roster this season and only 6 seniors. They had a signing class of seven (including a Quinn Rustand from Tuscon so I assume that is younger sister of Ella Rustand (BYU defender)). Of course there can in general be movement with transfers even if there were no change to the roster limit, but assuming no UVU transfers (or cuts) that means UVU is already up to 32 players.

So those numbers mean UVU is having to cut at least 4 players from last season roster to get down to 28.
