Not going to lie, I went to a BYU game 3 days after appendectomy/bowel resection
Don’t do it! lol I was really stupid and hurt every time I cheered, and the 100 mile trip home about did me in. Rest up and give us good vibes.
I watched the BYU Utah game from my hospital bed (Crohn’s with Staph and Sepsis). Nothing like a BYU victory over the Utes, with dilaudid to keep me calm through the final drive. Although, I did have to have 2 shots to lower my blood pressure, during the game, and the nurses were taking bets to see if I would need a 3rd. I won that one.
