The release point of a fade is nigh irrelevant.
He threw a pick in back to back weeks on that play because he left the ball short, not because of the release point. He just has to throw the ball farther.
You can roll out a jugs machine and throw 100 perfect fades in a row with the "release point" being 5 feet from the ground.
