Austin is really easy to get in and out of. If it weren't so far away, I'd prefer flying out of Austin instead of IAH.
Flights are always cheaper out of Austin than Houston, and it's an easier airport to navigate. Plus there area two Bucees along the way (Katy and Bastrop).
