Utah has a good population also. Best we have had in a while. My dogs are getting old. My French Britt will be 13 in
February and my Setter will be 8. Both seasoned.
I was thinking as I watched them locate covey after covey yesterday how this would be the year to have a new puppy.
There is no substitute for wild birds. Pigeons and bird launchers are good training tools but only so much.
If you can put a young pup on wild birds consistently, that will teach them quicker than anything.
