Beyond that, we are now in the Big 12 and in the NIL era. What we were able to do with recruiting ten years ago is no longer relevant.

Seems the one thing we are missing that would take our D to the next level is d-ends that can get 8+ sacks in a season.

how many teams have D-ends that get 8+ sacks? You're talking elite pass rushers, and we don't attract those guys to BYU.

I’d take 5+. That would double our recent production. I think the problem is on several levels.
