but I can play really good public golf for cheaper. Also, I like to play early in the morning and most clubs don’t have early enough tee times for my liking. making me wait until 8 am to tee off is a deal breaker for me. I like to tee off at 7 am in the winter and 6am in the summer, most clubs won’t allow that.

but my opinion could change based on where I live and my situation. Where I live has great public golf.
