to check his facts for him (probably see's it as a waste of his time, which maybe it is). He does seem to accept correction pretty well though, when he is wrong. Instead of hiding it or never admitting it.
He is in a unique position though. Again, after listening to several interviews, I think he relies on the community so that he has more time to focus on the "big picture" stuff that he has the power to affect. So, I can see his reasoning, he isn't very religious. Probably justifies it as "for the greater good". He might be right in his approach, even if it doesn't seem perfectly moral.
