think that in the heat of the moment it's difficult to make a split-second decision on when it's right to call a timeout and when it isn't. I can't help but think one can improve the ability to take, or not take, timeouts at the right times. It won't always be perfect, but if I were the one making that decision, I would think through the common scenarios on a regular basis, on flashcards or something similar.
