Point 1 - I don't necessarily disagree with you. But they have practiced all week and all year and you have no idea what the coaches have seen in practice. Maybe Ratzliff has made that throw or at least put it where only his guy could get it. You are going off the one throw and then the one throw from last week. It's easy to criticize after a play doesn't work. The quarterback not only didn't execute, but he completely failed on that play.
Point 2 - The QB run had been incredibly effective in the first half and even on that particular drive. You are pointing to one play where it didn't work. They didn't know it wasn't going to work and all signs pointed to that being an effective play for them.
