You can't help yourself can you, seriously though, it was about as bi-polar
A game from an OC as you'll ever see, anytime anywhere. That's acknowledging there was enough good to win and to win big, but there was enough bad to lose the game. I won't go through each of your points, but here are the issues that rest solely at Arod's feet

1)Last drive of the first half. Why were they in such a hurry. They had so much time and TO's left. The spike with 1 minute left was pointless and wasted a down, but they overcame it. Then on 1st down with 2 TO's and almost a minute left you throw the same pass that got picked the prior week. Know your QB. The call was terrible. Not bad, terrible. What are you thinking. You have more than enough times to use all 4 plays and really you should have wanted to use 2-3 so that Kansas didn't have time left. It was as bad as last week in reverse

2)The other drive inside the 10, no passes which is fine because you were running all the way down, but you didn't continue with what had got you there, you went with designed QB runs, more head scratching. Not aggregious, but ARod's tendency to go away from what got you there rearing it's ugly head again.

3)Last drive of the game, you get the points. The last 55 minutes of the game, the defense had given up 3 points other than the 3 yard drive. What in the world were they thinking. Get the points, the clock is secondary and really shouldn't have ever come into play based on how the D had performed. When your D is getting stronger as the game goes on, the management and play calling was awful once they got to 2nd down.

ARod called a decent game, but the play calling and lack of/over time managing inside the 15 caused this team 18 points.
