Hard way to lose. I'm replaying the last drive in my head and can't stop doing so. The 1st half pick was so bad, I can hardly process it.

And also:

--Cougs held SMU out of the end zone, and as of now, we're the only team that's beaten them.

--My extended family group chat was in despair over the impending loss to Baylor, which never came, and I got to see us pull out the win live and in person to cap off a great trip

--The skies above LES opened for 6 minutes against K-State, and those of us in attendance got to witness a stretch of football awesomeness descend vs. a team that was supposed to handle us. Spectacular win unlike any other I've seen at LES.

--The Oklahoma State finish was as amazing as it was unlikely

--We were dead. Dead on arrival. Do not resuscitate. Deep in our territory, on the road vs. Utah. Even after a holding penalty produced a blip on the EKG, the odds against a win were practically astronomical. And we won. And the Utes went on to Ute in spectacular fashion.

--And we won all the other games

No lipstick on the pig that was our offensive production last night. It is what it is--oink, oink. But it's been a terrific year--one I've enjoyed greatly and didn't remotedly expect. We're not done. Let's regroup and bring the magic again.
