I don’t understand the despair. We don’t go 9-0 by pure luck. Good teams finish close games. We’ve done that. We’ve found ways to win. The advantage of being in a conference is we don’t have to be perfect. I’ve coached teams that were riding a perfect record. It’s an unwanted distraction and hard to keep a team from being complacent.

Still two weeks of season left and I’m glad we have that perfection monkey off our back. Refocus and prepare for a good ASU team. We know we have talent to win and to win big games. Silence the doubters. Go Cougs!!
