officiating cost us the game, or was even particularly bad. I know the opi was bad. I’d have to go back and see what kind of contact happened before the push because maybe there was enough that the official just write it off as hand fighting (I think it was a penalty, but that’s one that unfortunately goes uncalled often). On the neutral zone infraction, it was close, and from the TV angle, not sure you can say definitively if he crossed the zone.
What’s most interesting to me is the no call for the hold on Batty during the Collins interception. If you aren’t going to call that, then what else during the game have you seen and let go. No way the official just didn’t see it. I almost wonder if the officiating crew made the decision to let them play and essentially swallow the whistle during the game both ways after last weeks controversy. There were maybe 5 Flags, and most were delay of game/ procedure penalties that they had no real judgement in and had to call.
