to win, but then everyone else gets googly eyed by a good offense, so if a team wins games by scoring a lot despite bad defense and special teams, they get all kinds of love in the rankings/perception. Whereas a team that is balanced and wins games with defense, special teams AND offense all contributing to the win, they are called lucky.
