1. After residents continually had their driveways blocked by people attending/leaving the game, the city agreed to look the other way when they turned to self help measures.

2. That neighborhood is known to be kind of a pesky bunch with some influence (their protests against the height of new MTC buildings around 10 years ago basically succeeded), so you kind of have to pick your battles with them.
