Let me put it for you this way, for you PhDs:
Wilson healthy was viewed as better than healthy Rose for most of the year, ergo Wilson started most games
Whittingham changed to Rose for Rose's first start
If Rose breaks his foot "so he could barely walk," then Wilson is your better option by a mile.
Since Whittingham didn't switch to Wilson, I think there's plenty of doubt Rose actually broke his foot.
Add to this that Rose breaking his foot makes a convenient excuse for their loss (see the tired "If Rising would have played" excuse)
Add to that that mom's frequently overstate things, especially injuries (and tenacity) of their children
If you're not willing to "listen" to that, I would think you're the one not "listening" to reason.
P.S. I do not doubt he has a Lisfrank injury. I just doubt it happened when they say it did.
