BYU outplayed the yewts and won the game fair and square. The holding call on fourth down the yewts complain about was actually a legitimate holding call. That only gave BYU a new set of downs, they still had a long way to go to get in field goal range with almost no time on the clock and no timeouts. The yewt defense failed to stop the BYU offense. That is what lost the game for the yewts.
