and for his helping to bring the program back into relevance and success again. While I wish he had been more a little more adroit with the media, I appreciated how much discipline and heart he instilled in his teams over the years. He helped to bring us to this point in the BigXII by leading the team through much of the independence years.

I am also grateful for Kalani and how it's been an imperative for both him, and Bronco, to maintain the culture that Lavell instilled in the program as well as prioritizing the mission and spirit of the university.

They're both great men who I am happy have been such great diplomats for BYU.
