A big part of what made them feel superior just went away. A big piece of competitive advantage just went away. They're on a big losing streak. They lost to their rival the last 2 meetings.
It would be a huge turn around to get the call from the B1G but that's not happening. And the possibility grows ever more remote as the U's failures stack up.
