Some thoughts on the rankings, the committee and upcoming games that matter...
- There's a chance (though I still think unlikely) that Georgia is out of the playoffs with 10 wins and having played the toughest schedule in America. That's wild. And yet schools like Texas, who's best win is...a very mediocre Michigan team and Indiana who's best win is...Michigan...are safely in. Doesn't make a ton of sense.

- I think Oregon is the best team in America and I think they win the national championship.

- I used to like Notre Dame, now I hate them. They play no one, their losses don't matter, and then they'll just get drubbed in the playoff year after year.

- The SMU and Miami rankings make no sense. They both have one loss. Miami's loss is to a 6-4 GTech team. SMU's is the #6 ranked team. And yet..Miami is in and SMU isn't.

- We are all Mustangs fans the next few weeks. Boston College at home, @Virginia, Cal at home. Then Miami or Clemson in the ACC championship game. We need them to keep winning.

- We are all Colorado fans the next few weeks...why? Because us playing a Top 14ish team in the Big 12 championship game would give us at least a tiny bit of wiggle room to lose and possibly still make it (if we're undefeated going into that game)...and Colorado plays Utah and I want that program to fall into utter chaos. Utah at home, @Kansas, OK State at home.

- Ohio State v. Indiana - That game is in two weeks. I don't know who I want to win. I just hope one of them humiliates the other.
