I don’t think they will play BYU if they aren’t in the same conference
At least not every year. Plus Utah has a solid football program and helps the B12 as a whole even if they aren’t having a down year.
It also has zero chance of happening - The only way Utah leaves the conference is if Utah decides to leave.
