True, but I think it boils down to this: it didn't surprise anyone in the media
or in the program who has spent any time around Harlan that he would do this.
If Tom Holdmoe did, it would be shocking and would get talked about ad nauseum.
I don't think Harlan survives the week as AD. The University is probably just trying to figure out if they can fire him for cause.
