Yes, but there’s teams that won’t make the championship. Those are the fans he’s
talking about. For instance, fans of Baylor or TCU, or West Virginia, etc. of course they want their own team to win out. But even if that happens, they’re not going to the championship game. So they can be fans of the big 12 also, and hope that BYU and Colorado both win out, and hope Colorado wins the championship game, then hoping that both teams make the playoffs.
