I would say that some of the biggest donors to the U AD are LDS and strongly dislike what the atmosphere is becoming.
I agree that they would not want to alienate 1/3 of their fan base, but they more importantly do not want to lose the financial donations that more than make up for 1/3 of that fan base.

not gonna change. ALUFS have been making these tepid complaints for years. It has not gotten better.
