I have to wonder if part of this is
that going into a Utah game, BYU QBs know subconsciously “I need to be really careful not to throw a pick, Utah always picks us off” or RBs think “I really need to be careful not to have the ball stripped” so they play tighter than normal, contributing to the higher turnover numbers
