It takes absolutely forever to get going.Could not understand the hype it gets on here. But because of that hype, I kept going to see what happened and was rewarded with a great finish. The entire book could be like 1/2 or 1/3 and still provide good background , set the stage, and provide the exciting finish.

But it's now been 6 months since I finished Dawnshard and I am hesitant to get back in with Rhythms of War. Feel like I've forgotten too much about the characters and the story to just jump in.
