In Ivy league grad school I was as well or better prepared than my classmates. The focus on teaching and experiential learning at BYU > than research focus at other schools. You also have remarkable network and personal development at BYU that is valuable throughout life that when paired with Ivy League is a strong combination. BYU faculty was outstanding, but I was in the econ program — Chicago, MIT, faculty.
Looking at cost/benefit of BYU under grad + Ivy League grad is a great combo economically. I wouldn't redo it or advocate anyone do differently.
However, following the Spirit and finding out where you specifically should be is the most important factor in decision.
