My BIL is probably one of the smartest kids to ever go to BYU and some of his HS
mentors thought he was insane to not go to MIT or Harvard or whatever (he could have gone anywhere). He still went to the very best graduate programs in the world with his BYU undergrad degree and loved BYU.
