Why won’t Whitt actually say anyone’s names, or BYU? Is this intentional?

Does he have some weird belief that saying the names of the team or players or coaches he has coached with, will some how diminish his teams ability.

Both him and the media spent half the time talking about issues not related to the game, like how NIL will make Utah less competitive, the transfer portal will cause him to play politics with his team, and how conference realignment will affect the future of the program. as if they are still dreaming of the day when they can pretend they are on par with USC, Oregon and Washington.
