Now that I know you're attending at LSU, I'll add that you know that at least percentage of your fellow students will turn it into a frat party. That's a given. I recall some students funneling beer at 9 a.m. Some of them will revel in the chance to draw some attention to themselves which may be entertaining, obnoxious or both, but it wasn't really any different that I remember the tailgating scene when Game Day wasn't around.

I thought it was cool. I happened to love the show, so I enjoyed seeing it live. Corso was much more lucid back then and would occasionally try to rile up the crowd off camera.

If you're ambivalent about the show, seeing it live probably won't do a whole lot for you. If you like the show, I'd go.

Unless you plan on staying around LSU or some other place where they come regularly, chances to be there live can be few and far between. And even if they do come to town, you might end up in a stage where the kids have games, you're coaching a team or two, etc. Yes, that is autobiographical.
