it shouldn't be considered in making a schedule. Sure help them do mental
coaching or whatever. Yes mentality is a big part of sports, not just the physical. But it should be assumed that players who can play at a top 25 NCAA level have the mental chops to go up against top 100 teams. I mean all these guys come from playing AAU or highest level (of junior circuit) from Europe. That's just silly to think they need to go up against some of the worst of 360 teams in D1 to build confidence.

If I were recruiting against BYU, I would absolutely use their terrible non-conference schedules against them. I would be telling AJ that "you really want to go to Provo and play a bunch of Mississippi Valley States all through the nonconference? That's almost half the season."
