I've never had any issues with any filters I've ever used. So long as they're
changed with the oil it probably doesn't matter.

At one point Pennzoil synthetic was one of the cheapest on the market, and yet had tested out as one of the best. In recent tests I've seen, them and Mobil1 usually test out about the same and currently sell for about the same price. I usually buy from Walmart as they generally have better pricing than auto parts stores, and my Walmart usually has Super Tech, Fram, and Mobil1 filters to choose from, so I go with the Mobil1 filters.

As a side note, for those looking to save money, the Super Tech synthetic oil can either be made by Warren Oil or Pennzoil. While the Pennzoil tests out better than the Warren Oil, both test out really well and would be perfectly fine for the average consumer out there.

Final side note: always go with the "High Mileage" blend of any synthetic. It's almost always the same price and has better additives.
