BYU doesn’t need teams above them to lose anymore. If teams ranked right below
them them keep losing were basically a lock at making the playoffs if we lose 1 of our remaining 4 AND lose the Big 12 title game.
11-2 BYU that loses in the Big 12 title game should get an at large over any 3 loss team, and probably some 2 loss SEC/B10 teams that don’t play in their CCG, as long as SMU wins the ACC at least.
Doubt the Big 12 runner up entering their CCG 11-1 would be left out if they lose and are the only team to beat the ACC champ
