Here are the games that BYU could reasonably lose before the NYE game against ASU to start Big 12 play:

- #24 Ole Miss in San Diego - Ole Miss is ranked in the preseason for the first time in 26 years. They're going to be extremely physical. They brought in some serious scoring over the summer.

- #14 Purdue or NC State in San Diego - BYU could easily lose either of these. Purdue is consistently a Top 15ish program and NC State was a Final Four team last year.

- @Providence - This game will be tough. Providence has Bryce Hopkins who will average 20 PPG+.

- Fresno - They were bad last year. Supposedly improved this year.

- Wyoming - Wyoming was bad last year...it looks like they're bad this year too

Anything worse than 8-3 would be disappointing in non-conf. I'd expect 9-2 or 10-1. I think we are really good.
