They don’t punish anyone for Bad Losses. IE ND, TN.

I don’t understand how Ohio State would be passed over for sure if they were a 2 loss team with losses to #1 Oregon and #3 Penn State both on the road.

Teams they’d be passed over by:
ND with a bad loss to N Illinois at home
T A&M with a loss to ND and predicted loss in SEC championship
TN with a loss to unranked Arkansas
Texas with a loss to Georgia at home and predicted loss to T A&M

Then there’s the obvious no mention of a potential B12 2nd team. It’s either BYU or Iowa state. But what about both and either KState or Colorado? All four B12 teams have better resumes than ND, TA&M and TN right now. Why no discussion about a 2 and 3 B12 team and just automatically putting 3-4 B10 and SEC teams each.


The expansion for the playoff was a bone thrown to the little guy (to get congress off their back) when there was never any actual intention to include them.
