The main goal of paying for AJ isn’t a national championship next year
Sure we hope it leads to that immediate success, but Bill Self is right, this is not the optimized way to win a championship in this era.
The main goal of doing this is to build credibility and a foundation for what KY is trying to establish at BYU. That is what the blue bloods already have, and that’s why it’s not worth paying that much money to get AJ
