I don’t blame you. I love 80’s and 90’s country but was never big into Tim McGraw and that song until I paid more
attention to the lyrics, it’s actually a pretty touching song.
Generally where country loses me is when it becomes to twangy and honkey tonk esque… Which is why I’m not a big Tim McGraw fan.
